Buying A Home
As part of your application for buying a home, you’ll want to gather:
Residence history for the past two years
Legible copy of photo ID for each borrower
Employer name(s), job title(s), and dates of employment for the past two years
Federal tax returns for the past two years (including all pages and schedules) and business tax returns if applicable (25% or more ownership)
Current pay stubs covering the most recent 30-day period
Bank statements for the past two months (all number pages, even if blank or advertisement)
Investment and retirement account statements for the past two months or most recent quarter (all numbered pages)
Name and contact information for homeowner’s insurance agent If you own other real estate that is not being sold:
Mortgage account information: current statement and if not escrowing, proof of taxes and annual insurance
Second mortgage or home equity statement (if applicable)
